Maalm is what hes actually named, at some point i dont know why but there became two names, maalm is what im sticking with though
he lives in his two houses near the school, he has an awesome garden that his friends regularly come visit
i wrote like a page about him and his house and dont read it but here it is

Something about maalm. He lives in a house in the backyard of the backyard of the school. He has a lovely home in something not quite like a retention basin where there is ground cover alone and no bushes and a couple of watery trees and when the water is low there are just a few small ponds, bursting with the life that normally fills the area. And there is a stone pathway sunk deep into the earth that maalm and his friends use to cross the small basin when the water is low and it is beautiful and artistically carved and the sides are always covered in moss but the top is always clean because maalm always clean it so his friends dont slip and fall when they cross it. And he crosses it everyday and his friends cross it not as often for they have their own things to attend to but maalm crosses it almost everyday. He goes to his garden, or rather one section of his garden built on a platform that he thinks long ago was a hill or an island way back before and his friends and his storytellers agree with him. But now it is a mix of a hill and a platform and on it is part of maalm’s garden. Maalm you see loves to grow things and many people love to grow things and to help things grow and to steward them but maalm loves to make things that will grow. He is a scientist of plant life, and a very creative one. He makes trees that grow tomatoes that taste like they have already been seasoned. He makes the smallest lemon plant anyone could think of the grows the biggest lemons anyone has ever seen. He makes stews and salves and tinctures for the ground out of the most changeable flowers and minerals. He knows the plants that like each other and the ones that would uproot the rocks under the earth if he wronged them. He has leaves that grow forever until year ends then bury themselves in the ground like worms if no one has eaten them. He plants large bushes and everlasting trees and small monthly flowers and vines or berries and beds full and full of roots and feeds the ground as much as it will take and his plants grow the strongest and the brightest and the liveliest. On rainy days and times when the water is high in the basin, all manner of life takes place below the garden. Small fish and lithe crabs and swimming frogs and heavy bugs and and dust and colors and light fill the basin and maalm doesnt know as much about the animals and the water and the currents and the dynamics of the system but he can infer much from the plant life and his familiarity hat has grown over time to his sweet little basin, and he makes sure that the life therein is well and feeds it if it runs low. And he still crosses daily to his garden but the stone pathway is deep below the water so he does not walk on it. Instead he walks on the bridge floating on the water that he sets up when the water begins to raise, and it will not sink by itself because its pieces are filled with air and it will not sink when someone walks on it because it is secured to the banks of the earth and to the bottom of the basin and supported well. And he and his friends walk on the bridge or on the path and they sit in the sun or the shade or lie around or stroll the garden and eat food brought by all and share trinkets and tools and new discoveries and the garden often shrinks and grows when someone finds they are enamored with a variety and maalm gives it to them to steward and bask in but for a graft or a pile of seeds and so the garden shrinks, and they bring him incredible pictures and ideas for new lives and starts and packets of seeds for him to nourish into their new vision and so the garden grows. Here in his garden in the basin of his house in the backyard of the backyard of the school, maalm crosses the bridges every day.
